The UK’s 5G Showcase

Hosted in-person in Birmingham, UK at Eastside Rooms on the 22nd and 23rd March 2022, the event is also accessible virtually across the globe.

This significant two-day conference and exhibition is for senior change-makers and decision-makers from Industry, the investment community, Government and the public sector, across the UK and the globe, who are seeking to realise and maximise benefit from the application and scaling of 5G technologies. At the event you will see the latest UK successes and progresses from the UK Government’s coordinated 5G programme, hear directly from those who have been at the 5G front line, reflect on the lessons learned and what these mean for global 5G deployments, and understand investment opportunities for market scaling.

Key questions the conference will address include:

  • What benefits and opportunities are emerging from the testing of 5G technologies by the UK’s pioneering 5G Testbeds & Trials Programme and the telecom supply chain diversification programme?
  • Which 5G technologies and use cases are approaching readiness for market?
  • What hard won lessons have been learnt through testing and trialling these new technologies?
  • What are the next steps to move from innovation to early market adoption and beyond?

The event is fully supported by the UK Government’s Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and features over 30 5G projects from across the UK. This lively and thought-provoking event will explore everything from 5G in manufacturing to delivering efficient and effective health and social care to people in their homes and communities, and ways to close the digital divide in our rural areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to be associated with the most innovative work happening in 5G across the UK.
