Lunch and Learn Connected Health & Social Care
The Scotland 5G Centre is really excited to announce the latest in a series of Lunch and Learn events, with AT&T our latest guest. We are delighted to say that Leigh Manton will explore what advanced connectivity and 5G can enable across health and independent care settings.
This event will explore a range of existing examples where 5G has enabled new ways of delivering services to patients, whether this is in a hospital or social care environment or to support greater independent living and reduce the burden of repetitive and labour intensive tasks. From the use of robots to support logistical management or VR for pain management to wearables and real time data management – the utilisation of private, on-site 5G networks can help health and social care providers support patients in new and innovative ways that can manage thousands of connected devices at one time.
